• We learnt communication in teams, group work, how to listen effectively and nonverbal communication skill in Chapter 2.

I think there will be a huge amount of things for me to talk since I spent nearly 4 years in UIC and developed in a favorable condition named Whole Person education. I have met lots of group works range from presentation to Orientation Camp of our association or even the college.

I am an independent, outgoing and proactive person. I enjoy group work and can either act as a group leader or a group member; it means no difference to me. However, being a group leader is harder than just act as a group member without doubt, in which situation you can have a better understanding of the group work.

Groupthink, Hidden agendas, Free riders and Cost certainly exists in a group. Sometimes they can be the very bad things........

I remembered Ethan asked me the problems that I met when worked in a group at class. I said everyone cannot do their proper work. There is a common situation that extroverted person always keep a proactive attitude, seems that he or she has the ability to do things well. However, introverted person always calm and shy, he or she may have nothing to do in a group.

According to IDSC personality analysis, people who belongs to D is, although he or she is , he or she can also do xxx well. Team leader should arrange work according to everyone's personality so that every group member perform his best way.

When talking about nonverbal communication, there is one thing that I want to mention. At the beginning of this semester, I help my friend with the new recruitment of SIFE. It is fantastic that we could all like someone and dislike someone. After learning BC, I know it is the function of nonverbal communication. We placed the positive attitude on someone who was smile, has eye contact with us, has warm gesture and placed negative attitude on someone who always touched his nose, mouth, fiddled with his clothes, and looked at sky...

I want to use a sentence as the end of this dairy. It comes from The Leader of the Future, written by Peter Drucker: Leader is nothing about position, franchise, power and money, it is just responsibility.

    Thx for reading^^
